Building chicken coops are not very complicated thing if you follow the correct methods. There are various thing you should follow in order build a good, comfortable chicken house. The reason why many people failed when they building chicken houses is they do not follow the correct methods. I made the same mistakes when I was trying to make my first chicken coop. What I am doing here is just explaining my experience with building chicken coops. You know what healthy coop can do. It helps your chicken to grow healthy, safely, and quickly. The final outcome is happiness.
So do you think it will take one week to you to build a chicken coop? I bet by following the instruction provided n the manual anybody can achieve the target within 3 to 5 days.
It’s not that complicated if you know the techniques. The problem facing lots of people when they try to build one is they don’t know where to start and what to next. The final result of that kind of a thing is helpless. Here I mention just few things you should follow at the beginning.
ONE: – Plan the whole inside.
Many people doing wrong at this point. If you are not plan the inside first, after build chicken house you can see it’s still smaller than you thought before. Just because all the additional pieces went inside, chicken will loose the freedom and it become a big problem when they grow up. In order to avoid this, just prepared a blueprint and start the work.
TWO: – Light
We know how important light. So keep enough windows to light come in. And it will also help to ventilation. But don’t keep them (windows) too below since sun rays can directly come at chicks and also predators have better chance if they are too low.
THREE: – Size
As mentioned in the first one, if you are not sure how many chickens you are going to have and then always keep the chicken coop at a reasonable large. Don’t make it too small or unnecessarily too large. Plan it, think it how many you want and always keep in mind their health. That is most important.
FOUR: – Just start it!
I know it’s not easy build a chicken coop if you are a beginner and also it’s not that difficult. My experience is if we follow the correct technique we can get better results.
